Nobody runs Cyprus like this—we’re among the very few (if not the first) to build a true, A-to-Z landscape expedition here. We spent three months on the island scouting locations, tides, light, access and timing so you don’t gamble. Everything is dialed. This expedition is built as a hands-on field learning experience — teaching composition, exposure, timing and workflow directly in real landscapes and changing conditions.

  • Troodos Mountains: reliable snowpack for clean winter compositions—frosted pines, ridgelines, alpine sunsets. Want a break session? Ski rental is available and local slopes are right there.

  • Kyrenia (Pentadaktylos) Range: just a short drive yet spring is already on—fresh greens, wildflowers, limestone spines and castle vistas.

  • Coast & Sea Caves: world-class seascapes, arches and sunrise cave frames. And for those keen: a quick swim in turquoise water that sits around the 18–20 °C mark near shore—some of the clearest in the Mediterranean.

🗺️ What Will We See During the Photo Expedition & Tour?

This Cyprus photo workshop doesn’t run on a rigid timetable—and that’s the point. Each day we pivot to the best snow in Troodos, spring greens in the Kyrenia range, and tide/swell/light for the coast, so you’re always shooting the most striking scenes in the best conditions.

Outside golden-hour sessions, we’ll mix headline vistas with hard-to-find locations—from snow-dusted forests and castle ridges (St. Hilarion) to sunrise sea caves around Protaras and backlit seascapes near Ayia Napa. No crowds. No noise. Just clean frames and moments that feel like they’re yours.

You’ll photograph winter ridgelines, fresh limestone spines with wildflowers, and turquoise water with arches and long-exposure surf—one island, three seasons in a week.

To get the most out of your Cyprus photo expedition, we recommend bringing a DSLR or mirrorless camera, a sturdy tripod, and a selection of wide-angle to telephoto lenses. But don't worry — even if you shoot exclusively on a smartphone, you're still welcome! We adapt our approach based on your gear and experience level.

How We Work: Flexible, Real-World Shooting (what about the itinerary)?

We don’t run a fixed day-by-day itinerary. Like most of our workshops, Cyprus follows a conditions-based plan — we adapt each day to light, weather, wind, tides and clouds to deliver the strongest possible photographic results.

Thanks to on-the-ground scouting and deep local knowledge of Troodos, Kyrenia (Pentadaktylos) and the Protaras / Ayia Napa coast, we always choose the right location for the moment — snow-covered ridges, limestone spines, or sea caves and arches when light and tide align.

Our focus is high-quality landscape photography — single frames, panoramas and long exposures. Between key photo sessions, we also explore iconic and lesser-known locations mentioned in the expedition intro, combining guided exploration with documentary-style shooting for a complete experience.

  • Late-February Cyprus: on the coast expect 20 °C/68 °F in the shade, and in direct sun it feels much warmer. Skies are a mix of sun and clouds (great for photos), the sea is refreshing (19-21°C / 66.2–69.8 °F) and fine for a quick dip. Troodos is true winter (near-freezing with snow); we shoot snowy scenes there and then head back to the mild coast.

  • Don’t worry! We can adapt to any gear you have, whether it’s a smartphone or a high-end camera. After you register, we provide a detailed gear list and recommendations to make sure you're ready for the conditions, and you can always consult with us for any additional advice.
