I'm excited to extend an invitation to you for a photographic journey to the heart of landscape photography paradise - Italian Tuscany. Join us for a photo expedition that emphasizes capturing panoramic day and night views of the landscape along with exploring the intricacies of Italian wines.

The goal of this expedition is to capture Tuscany's stunning beauty and provide participants with the skills to take and process both day and night photographs, focusing on panoramic images and standard single frames, tailored to their preferences.

This expedition offers something uniquely engaging and laid-back. We introduce the concept of a "photography wine harvest," where you not only immerse yourself in the art of photography but also delve into the world of exquisite Tuscan wines. Leisure time will be spent exploring renowned Tuscan vineyards and savoring their offerings, providing you with foundational wine-tasting knowledge directly from the winemakers and the lecturer.

Should the weather turn or if there are accompanying guests seeking alternative activities, there's the option to explore a designer fashion outlet, home to over 150 brands.

While the core objective remains to equip participants with the expertise to capture both panoramic photos and single frames according to their preferences, this expedition distinguishes itself by its informal approach, encouraging a more relaxed and enjoyable learning environment, all while visiting numerous photographic sites.

Don't want to leave your partner at home? No problem. Take your partners with you. They can take part in the whole program. Thus, partners will visit the most beautiful locations of Tuscany with us, they can go into the field with us and experience the atmosphere of taking pictures during beautiful sunsets and sunrises or the night romance, taking pictures and explaining about the night sky. But most importantly, they will join us for all the tastings, of which there are not a few. The price for the whole expedition is 5490,- CZK per partner.

For whom the course is intended

The photographic expedition is intended for photographers interested in landscape photography. It does not matter if you are an advanced landscape photographer or a beginner. The photo expedition will introduce you to new techniques and approaches to landscape photography, with a focus on creating multi-row panoramic photographs and nights capes with stars (static and dynamic stars). All this is complemented by the exposure bracketing method, you will learn advanced exposure metrics and focusing rules for panoramic photographs.

Participants will gain the know-how of landscape and star photography. There are no "production secrets" or secret procedures for taking photos.
Getting to know the most interesting locations of Tuscany.
We capture images at renowned sites, yet our primary emphasis is on spots seldom or never frequented by other photographers... join us to shoot not only at well-known locations but also at hidden gems. All photo spots are easily accessible.
Visit to wineries, possibility of buying wines, tasting, acquiring basic knowledge of wine discovery and tasting.
Friendly atmosphere and small number of participants.
Above-standard number of lecturers (3!), thanks to which a very individual approach to each participant is guaranteed.

Recommended Equipment

Ideally a Digital SLR or mirrorless camera with one or more lenses and tripod. Do you only shoot with a mobile phone? That doesn't have to be an obstacle, and you can confidently join us. In a limited number and under certain conditions, we are able to arrange photographic equipment for those of you who may still be deciding which brand of cameras and lenses to purchase. Detailed information about the recommended equipment will be provided to each participant after a binding registration.

Are you thinking about new photography equipment or maybe just want to optimize your lenses, need advice on purchasing suitable clothing, or are unsure about choosing a new tripod etc.? No problem. As part of the pre-expedition preparation, we offer and routinely conduct a wide range of consultation services, which are included in the price of the expedition.

Accommodation in a typical Tuscan villa reserved exclusively for our expedition. The villa is divided into double-room apartments. Each apartment has its own bathrooms. Then, two apartments share a common kitchen and living room. A large swimming pool is available.

Price does not include

Transportation to the course, during the course, and back, as well as any entrance/parking fees (transportation is arranged through carpooling with expedition participants and the instructor).

Meals other than breakfast (there are kitchens in the accommodation where you can easily cook your own food or you can dine in the many surrounding restaurants).

Detailed itinerary of the photo expedition

Are you interested in the detailed itinerary of the photo expedition? Do you want to know where we will be shooting on the third day, what we will have for dinner on the fourth day, where we will be shooting on the fifth day, or what time we will have breakfast on the seventh day? Then you won't find that with us.

We fundamentally reject this type of sightseeing tours! We adapt our program to current weather forecast models. Based on the knowledge and experience of the lecturers, we select for shooting those locations where there are currently the greatest chances of successfully taking photos. From an organizational standpoint, this type of photo expedition is significantly more demanding than a preset "prefabricated" model of travel agencies, regardless of weather and photographers' needs. However, we organize a real photo expedition. Our goal is for each participant to take as many photos as they expect and envision.
